i saw these at my local walgreens, they are macanudo ascot Tin of 10 little cigars that are 4.13 x 32, i was wandering if anybody has smoked these, and would they be good buying them at walgreens?

I'm not sure they would be good buying them anywhere
Lacks everything in my opinion.
My guess would be that they might be too dry since they're probably just on a shelf.
But if they are reasonably priced pick em up, you may find out that you like them.

On of the guys at the local shop actually recommended them despite knowing I was more of a med-full flavor guy. Basically he thought the Macanudos were less harsh than a lot of other miniatures. Considering how careful you have to be to not puff on a 4x30 stick to fast that sentiment doesn't suprise me. I didn't bite though, so I haven't had one of these in many years.

Personally my favorite mini so far is the Ashton Senioritas. They're about $7 for 10. As best I can tell they cut the price by not bothering to put caps on the cigars and packaging them in a cardboard box instead of an expensive painted metal (but not air tight) tin.

I've also picked up a tin of Punch Bolos recently. I like the flavor better then the Senioritas, but they still get hot & harsh if you're not really careful and at $12/6 they're just too expensive. Might as well just get a cheap $2 regular sized stick and toss whatever you don't smoke. The local liquor store selling Flor de Olivas for $1.75 a stick really doesn't help. Cheaper than the Bolos, and much better than any mini I've had.

I thought this was a thread about an ascot Macanoodles came out with.

If fred comes with it I'll stay especially clear. Never did like that pansy. More of a shaggy man myself...
