I have a Prometheus Parabola lighter and was wondering if anyone else has a problem with lighters crapping out in cold weather?? It seems that below 40 degrees the lighter wont work after a period of time outside.
Yep, I've had a problem. Use to keep my lighter in my coat pocket. Now I keep it in my pants pocket when I go outside to smoke. I have 2 different brand torch lighters and neither of them ignite if they get cold.
I'm wondering if wrapping it in one of those pocket hand warmers would do the trick??
I don't think its necessary. Just warm it in your closed fist for a minute or so. I keep my Colibri in my car and it never fails to light after just being warmed.
