Then you can google "The War of 1812", and hear the song by the Arroagant Worms of the same name.
By the way, my ancestors were a part of the group that were called the Empire Loyalists, that left the US and came to Canada because they were loyal to the crown.
Sorry for the threadjack, I am just a little bit proud of my Canadian history, and thought this was a good time to share it with all of you.

One of my ancestors was the first white baby born in Toronto. My Aunt has done all the research for us but I haven't joined yet but plan to.
