I just completed my first purchase from c.com. Picked up a firday special and 2 variety c.com samplers. Partick was extremely helpful. The only problem now is I have to go home to my girl and butter her up before I tell her how much i spent.

Congrats, man!!!!! Good luck with the girlfriend - all of my sticks are kept at the office - safe distance away from my wife!

I feel your pain. Remember this: A nice rich cigar will get you through times of no money better than money will get you through times with no cigars. I admit I stole that from the 70's and changed the words a bit but somehow that's what came to mind.

I'm a lucky fella, my wife has a mail order problem. If she questions me about my cigars, I throw away her Oriental Trading Company magazines. :poke:

If I threw away her Oriental Trading magazines - you guys would be watching her on CNN being arraigned for my murder.

My wife almost killed me when I received my 3rd, no it was the 4th, no wait, 5th yes 5th package from c.com. All within a month apart. The bad part is that I need to restock on Cusanos and Cuban labels. But my credit card has been put on suspension by my wife.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to smoke an Anejo (2004), Padron 1964, and my Ashton VSG.

I'm just totally screwed, my wife is not only one of the smartest people I know (and thats saying alot, my bro and sis-in-law are big time Doctors in Boston) She is our personal finance guru, and she balances the checkbooks. So there is no hiding the amount of cigar.com orders, or the trades, the shipping and the special cigar deals that come my way. I try to space the orders out, stick to a budget, and rely on the fact that she really loves me, and pray she keeps her sence of humor.

Then, all the while, you're wondering... is she just saving ammunition?

Sorry, I really couldn't resist.

Oriental Trading? Isn't that the party supply catalog? So you have inflatable monkeys and glow necklaces around?

My wife gripes a little, but when she gets irked at a c.com package I tell her to buy something towards her hobby. The problem is that her hobby cost much less than all of mine. Cigars, coins, guns, wood working, gardening, insect collecting, plant collecting….

Thankfully - Misa's only cmplaint is that I smoke to much.
In truth she is right, but works outside the house & well I have all day to smoke - just try to keep it down to one at night.
Also she smokes fine cigars, so as long as I always have something for her (she likes varity) I don't get any complaints.

You mean this isn't normal?

My girl likes the smell of the cigar be4 its smoked, but cant stand it when im actualy smoking, so she goes away. Doesnt really mind that i get them, just wont come near me for like a day, haha. Kinda odd dont u tink??

My wife likes it when I smoke because it calms me down from screaming kids working my last nerve after a long day at work, hence my nickname, but gets on my case when I make a box purchase, then gets me a montecristo gift pack for V-day... I think I'm lost. I'm pretty sure she still loves me. :?:
