RP Seconds vs RP Factory Select?

What is the difference between the Rocky Patel Sun Grown Factory Seconds and the Rocky Patel Sun Grown Factory Select? Is one better than the other? Has anyone tried either or both of these?

Seconds are generally a cigar that has a flaw that doesn't allow them to be sold as the banded-cigar they were trying to be. Might be a cracked wrapper, loose roll, tight rolls, plug, etc. Generally, they are cheaper, and almost as good as the first-run, in my limited experience.

The factory seconds are looking like a great buy. My question is, would you be offended, upset, feel cheated, if you were to recieve some RP seconds in a PIF package or a box pass???

Wait 'til Quag is here. He know a bit about the RP, I know nothing about them because I don't smoke them.

I have picked up a lot of the RP Vintage 90's - they are great sticks - they smoke just like the regular ones - just no bands and there may be some color flaws in the wrappers (I really haven't noticed it though). It is a great deal as far as I am concerned.

I bought two bundles of RP vintage 92's...torpedo

after a month in my humi they are awesome....had some plug problems at the head but still worth every penny

I have not had any seconds nor have I even heard of the Selects you speak of. So I can't really help there. But Rocky Patel has some of the most stringent policies regarding quality. A cigar might have the most minor defect like a tiny flake of wrapper missing and it would probably be rejected. Many people say they can't even detect any defects in the seconds.

i've had the rp sequndos or 2nds that some call them. could not tell the difference. they were tasty :D

ive been looking for the seconds at shops around my hosue and cant seem to mind any1 that has them. Any1 have any ideas wer i can get them?

Thanks for all of the help. I think I'll try to purchase some.
