well, atleast the list that is :p

i still need to do some more "lookin up" to fill in the blanks and fix some things that are incorrect...anyone else keep an inventory list like this?

i just started keeping one with my recent new restocking, humi was previously empty for a while as i was on a bit of hiatus and predominatly just buying a few sticks here and there and smokin em shortly thereafter...

anyway, let me know what ya think, help me fill in some blanks and corrections or suggestions for additional info to include is welcome!

My sheet is almost exactly as yours, except I don't have the "How Removed" column. I also put in my own rating (from 0-10, with 10 being highest). In addition, I also have How many I smoked, and an approximate cost (using Cigar.com's pricing instead of actual retail value).

Also have a Wish List.

Matt:

Like your inventory - some of my favorites in there!

My suggestion would be a column for your opinion on taste (maybe even at different points - beginning, middle, end), maybe a column for construction or burn too.

Thanks guys for the suggestions, will def add a column for my taste, not sure about price as i might not want to be able to tally all the $$ spent haha :p - but it would be useful...

if have the "how removed" just so i can keep track if i smoked it, traded it, gifted it, etc...it may not prove useful or necessary- we'll see, since im gonna itemize each cigar individually as well as if/how it was removed, that should keep track of how many i've smoked

I keep mine in excel as well. On Sheet 1 I have the Qty. Name Size Price . I have a Sheet 2 that I copy the name and size to and keep the construction and my notes on each stick. Sheet 3 is my shopping/wish list. Then I put the whole thing on my Sony Clie so I can take it with me.

My only problem with the inventory is when my wife opens it and looks at the cost total at the bottom.

I keep my list on Excel. It's handy to keep track of when I got the cigar and when I finally smoked it.

I just started one a couple of weeks ago. Was taking along time to do and I get bored easy, so its not done yet. Mine is like yours but with prices, etc. Let me ask this, if you buy say an opus x one day, and another a couple of months later, how do you tell them apart in your humidor? I thought of marking the label, but I started worrying that might hurt them, so I skipped that idea. Any one have a solution to this problem?

I just write a date code on a thin strip of white paper and wrap it around the cigar, no glue.
