I am new to this so i am looking for help on what types of cigars might fit me. I am 26 looking for a type of cigar you might smoke on special occasions. I am a big sports fan and hoping to find something for me after my ballgames, but i am honestly clueless right now about what to buy or where to buy it. I dont even know if my smoke shops around here would sell anything worth my while. So if anybody has any suggestions i would like to know what i should try and what i should not try. Thanks

The OL' standby here is probably Cusano 18. All around great smoke.... Welcome to the forum!

I'm a Cusano 1997 corojo guy. The rocky patel the edge corojo, or the REO are very nice too. What do you smoke now??

I had smoked cigarettes for 3 yrs and have not really smoked in a year cause i had a baby. Did not want my baby to have to be around it all the time. So to answer the question i dont really smoke anything yet accept for a few cheap cigars from my smoke shop like swisher. I like the cigars i have tried over the years but i would not know the specific names to them i am just learning.

The great thing about cigars...you never stop learning! (and I have more to learn than most! :p )

Can never go wrong with Cusano 18.

Get the cigar.com's sampler pack (one of each house brand). See what you like, and then let us know. We can go from there.

We all made that mistake once in our life. At least we learned from the experience.

Everyday above ground is a special day. Smoke em when you have em and want em!!!

That is a hard question. Depending on how much you want to spend, there are alot. My special occasion smokes include:

Opus X
Padron 1926 40th Anni's
Cohiba Siglo VI
Fuente Anejo

The best way to go is to try the Cigar.com Best Buy Sampler Pack. There are great smokes in there, with a broad spectrum of flavor!

Leeroy!
you may not have realized it...but you said that out loud!

Can't leave out the Arturo Fuente Hemingways ... Short Story, Best Seller, Classic, Work of Art

I agree with the Cusano 18 too. The Paired Maduro looks good too, have one in the humi for this weekend.

I really like Fuente Hemingways, Punch Magnums (the Rare Corojo if I can find them), and if I'm in a light mood, the ROmeo y Julieta Reserva Real. Rocky Patel Vintage 1990 pack a nice punch, but I'd advise eating before smoking one.
