I have taken the suggestions from some people, but i need to know one more thing before i purchase any cigars. What is the difference in mild, medium, and full. I apologize if its a dumb question.

Body and flavor are different yet confused all the time. While typically full bodied lends to full flavor, that is not always the case.

Body is strength. It can most easily be detected by blowing the smoke out of your nose. If you start to cry... it is full bodied. Finish is also a good measure. The length of the finish can directly correspond to the level of body. Robust is a common description that comes to mind on full bodied cigars.

Flavor deals more with how prevelant the primary aroma is on your palate while taking into account the balance and various competing aromas.

the term finish has always kind of confused me, does it refer to how long the flavor and taste stick around on your palate

Exactly! Now that is the taste of the smoke, not that nasty taste that hangs on your tongue for a day. I hate cigar mouth.

I wept with my first Diploma. But, I was just emotional because I loved it so.

 My kind of woman.

Yes the finish is how long the aroma stays on the palate. It is typically a different flavor from what you taste in the smoke. You should pull aromas from your mouth (most commonly refered to as palate, your nose, and then the finish is a whole nother beast. I typically find that the more prevelant aromas are on the palate, the more subtle on the nose, and the finish is usually in your trought and sides of the bottom of your mouth.

It is said that you should be able to detect up to 12 different aromas in a complex cigar, some people even more.

all 3 depends on the time of day , what I am eating & drinking & where I am at the time & what is in my pocket humidor .
Enjoy, Vince
