Robert's (Bobberific) girlfriends father is going into surgery today.
Him and I had plans today here at the Castle.
He was telling us (Misa & I) that his Girl's dad started having chest pains yesterday while working out.
He went to the hospital to make sure everything was OK.
It did seem things were ok as all test pointed in the direction.
While we were eating lunch he got a call that they would be taking him in for surgery.
Off he went to meet his lady and wait for her dad's recovery.
I believe in the power of prayers, good thoughts & strength in numbers!
So lets all say a little prayer, send good thoughts or what ever it is
you do in times like these!
Robert is a great guy, very kind, smart & a pleasure to hang out with.
I am praying that everything works out well & the Lord
keeps them in his hand and see him through safely!
Thanks!
Loren

I know Robert and the whole family will be in our thoughts (we are all a big family here) and our wishes for a quick and full recovery for her Dad!

Amen brother!! I will keep him in my heart as I go about my cleaning today!

I received some kind words from EVERYONE here on the forum when I gave the news about my Dad, so I want to give some back. Robert, keep us posted, we will keep him in our thoughts and prayers.......

As always, the forum shows it's true colors.

My prayers are with him and his family.

Semper Fidelis.

Once again,

AMEN and AMEN to all the prayers for him, his surgeon's, and all those caring for him. May his family have peace through all of this.

ICN,

AMEN

Sorry to hear the bad news, I'm sure he's in good hands.
Thoughts and prayers go out for him and his family.

Sorry to hear about this. I pray to our Father in Heaven that he will hold Robert's hand durring this Surgury. That he will guide the surgeons hands with the skill he has blessed him with. I thank Jesus Christ for finding this problem early, for it is HIS Grace that protects us. May Robert wake up free from pain and discomfort. May his recovery be swift like the LOVE of God. You sent your only son as an example of your love for us, please hold Robert close to your side as Jesus is seated at your right hand. Father, Bless Robert's family in this time of worry. Remind them to turn worry over to you for we have no control. Jesus taught us not to worry. Father through your awesome power and love shield Robert and abide in his heart. Amen

My thoughts are with him. Not to steal the thread but my mom just had this happen at the beginning of the week so I know its not easy. We all need support in dire times and this forum has been great with providing it.

My senior friend was doing stairs the third day after his heart surgery - they then kicked him out of the hospital because he was ready. There you go!!

We are glad everything went well, tell the family we are all rooting for him.

Great News! Yes it's true that medicine has come along way. To me it's just such a wonderful feeling to see God working in our lives. Be it through medicine or whatever. Blessings rain down on us every minute. When I woke up from my surgury last week I knew I had been, and was sitting, in God's loving hands. OOOOOH BABY this is a Grace Moment. God Bless!! I'm gonna break out an Ashton Aged Maduro for this! Cheers! :hypercolor:
