This is my first cigars, How do you smoke them? lol, isnt there supposed to be a hole at one end? I have a red label from cigar.com and cusano 18 neither one have a hole at one end. Do i have to have a cigar cutter? do i poke a hole in the end?

A cutter is ideal but make sure you dont cut off to much. You just want to shave off the end. See old cigar 101 sections of the cigar.com newsleter for a quick tutorial on how to cut your cigar. If you are in a pinch, grab a golf tee and poke a hole in the closed end.

You light up the closed end, and smoke from the opened end. :D

No, seriously, listen to Alex's suggestion. If you don't have a cutter or puncher, use a .22caliber shell casing.

BTW, you're starting out with some great cigars there!
and, Welcome to the forum!

Yeah, just make sure you clean that casing first!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the cigar brother, and try not to inhale, or you will be having fun for sure.

Be sure to take your time with the cigar. You may want to eat first as well. I know I made that mistake...just once though.

:D :D :D

I agree with every answer so far. My 2 cents would be to draw slowly. Don't work it too fast, or let the cigar get too hot. Make time to really enjoy the complex flavors. Look at it alot and twril it on your lips when you smoke it. Smell the aroma as you smoke. TIME is so important. Hey! Now go and enjoy life! :cheerschug:

Until you get a cutter, you can try the pinch method....if you do a search here on the forum, I believe Capt had a good thread illustrating it.... though I still prefer the ease of a good cutter, the pinch method works very well, and is nice to know if you are ever out without your cutter. Browse arround the back pages... there is a wealth of info here on this forum...Welcome aboard! :cheerschug:

I know I am not THAT special, but maybe the mods can make the Pinch Method a sticky?? Only a suggestion...
