SC latest state to debate ALL smoking!!!

They just passed one of those in my old hometown, Starkville MS. Its crazy cause its a college town with a big bar scene. Thats what people got to bars to do drink and smoke.

Welcome to the world of liberals. Lets try to protect the people from everything we can and squash the rights of the people who choose to try and protect themselves. I never understood who they are protecting. The people working in such establishments choose to do so knowing that there will be smoking going on. If they don't like it than they need to get a new job. I live in Ca. and it just burns me every time I think about it or hear of another state doing what happened here. Good luck brother smokem while you can and then some. Sorry for the grip session.

True liberalism does not allow for the protection of rights for some but the violation of those of others.

I wish the "Liberal" party today could hang on to that. It sounds like we are probably using definitions of words that only sound alike! That definition is far closer to a modern libertarian than a Democrat (let's all move to New Hampshire!).

Agreed: Live free or Die. More personal choice, less support from the govt'. Less taxes and smaller government for all. Do what you like, as long as it doesn't harm others. Legalize drugs, kill welfare, stop taxing products. These are the things I belive in.
