My Lovely Wife and I have been married 5 years this Monday.
Not sure how she made it this far - (I got the better end of the deal)

We are splitting town for a few -
Heading to NY tomorrow for a party & then AC till Thursday.
If anyone needs me for any reason you will be out of Luck!
I'm turning my phone off & my Black Jack Skills on.
Not to mention a nice Tuesday Spa day of hot tubs & massage,
Damn I need it!

Wow! That's so wonderful. Have a great time, and I agree, you DID get the best end.... God Bless....

Happy Anniversary; all the best. If it wasn't for the fact that I just returned from a hastily planned trip to Puerto Rico, and with a life that's only going to become more hectic with each passing day, I'd love to meet up with you in NY, since I will be in Manhattan running around all day and into the night on Monday and most of Tuesday. Have a great time, and give my best to your lovely bride. :wine:

Happy anniversary and have fun!

Good luck at the tables!

Semper FI,
Jeff

Congrats - Mariel and I hit #4 in June

Bloof - what did you run down to Puerto Rico for? Go anywhere exciting?

Congratulations to you and your better half.

Me and my g/f are hitting the 4 year mark soon here, she may as well be my wife, shes my soulmate and best friend, it's amazing that any woman could put up with me that long, hahaha.

Hope your weekend is full of fun and big table winnings.

Cybrus, I went down to Cabo Rojo, where my father lives on his farm, two miles outside of town, arriving and departing from Rafael Hernandez International Airport (formerly Ramey AFB) in Aguadilla.

I went down to check on his health, and become involved in certain family affairs regarding real estate and personal property. This trip was a business trip, the kind I will be making every six to eight weeks from now on. Later on, there may be time for more expansive activities, but this was strictly to look after him and business matters, and will be at least 95% of the scenario in the future.

Bloof, hopefully everything is well with you and your family. If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask.

Congrats CC,

My wife and I are coming up on our 1st year here shortly. Of course, in the less than a year we have been married, we managed to concieve and birth 2 children which makes it seem like we've been married a bit longer than we actually have been.

All the best,

Joe

Congrats CC. Wife and I hit 5 years this June and we're taking a lost weekend in Austin and San Antonio.

Anyone know of a cant miss smoke shop on the River Walk in S.A. I'm gonna try and hit Babalu cigar company on 6th st. in Austin if we get that far.

Ditto what Capt said. We're all family here :)

Thank you axe and Capt, for the sentiments, and the actions which have proven to back that up, and that part applies to others here and elsewhere as well. While I can't say that everything is well, my father, who will make 80 or 81 in July, the 17th or 18th, both depending on which is to believe, is actually better than I expected. Nonetheless, he is quite old, with at least one major problem and two or three others, that need more and better care than he can get down there, at least where he is.

It is yet, just plain old time for me to step in and spend the money and take the time, to oversee him and administrate real estate and household affairs. It's what many people my age, and a lot way younger, have had to do, and will do, just another day in the life of, y'know.

Not to mention the fact that I love my father's company, and we enjoy many common ideas, and keen interests in certain subjects. Thanks again, and God bless everyone.

I'll definately drop a word with the big guy for you and your dad. Hope all continues to go well.

All the best,

Joe
