Great zippo deal

One of my local cigar shops has the inserts for around $16. I'm gonna get one for my son.

The Butane insert kinda defeats the idea of the Windproof Zippo lighter, doesn't it? If somebody in the room breaks wind it'll blow a Butane out.

Or cause a massive explosion, depending on what the (ahem) windbreaker has been eating.

My local shop sells the z-plus for $14. I already had an old Zippo, which I outfitted with the zplus, and it works great!

this is my point here doc.....you paid $14 just for the Z-plus.....try to by a zippo lighter for $6

20 bucks for a zippo lighter and a z-plus combo is a pretty good deal

You're right Stickman, the cheapest I've ever seen a zippo is around $15, so it is a good deal.

I have a Zippo that's over 50 years old and still works great. I'm thinking of getting a zplus for it, too.

i have a very old zippo that my father gave me a few years ago while he was still here. this zippo was given to him by his father so it is very old but in great shape. i use a zplus insert in it. every time i light one up it lets me remember a lil about the past. :D :D

i have an old zippo that i used to love when i was in High school and later in college. I quit smoking cigarettes about 4 years ago. now that i smoke cigars i wanted to use it again but i was unable to becaus of the oder. thanks to z-plus (im gunna buy one in a few days) i can use my favorite lighter on my cigars

Dejoro, Cool link!
My Zippo is from 1997. My uncle bought it for me as a bday present when they came out to visit.

Yeah, I thought it was pretty cool to find out how old my Zippos were. I have one from the '49-56 era and one from '73. They both still work flawlessly, too.

I just read an article in Cigar magazine about Zippos. Actually it is about the original Zippo car. Part of the article was about how people will remininse about their lighter and who, or where there got it and the memories of their fathers and grandfathers using them.

Dejoro, thanks for the link. Very cool

Picked up my zplus today. It's nice to have my old zippo in my pocket once again. :)
