My wife and a couple of friends went to Vegas last Wed. I was having a good time drinking a little and smoking some cigars. I only bought one cigar because all the prices were too expensive. Good thing I brought my own.

Friday we went to Penn and Teller. When they did their bullet catch they asked for two people to inspect the bullets and pistols. I got to go up and do that. I also got to keep the slug and case afterward. I have pictures with them that I will post later.

Saturday Morning I got food posioning. One of my other friends got it Friday so we think it might have been the buffet at the Excaliber. So all eating, drinking, and smoking stopped for me.

Sunday I was feeling a little better, but certian things would wear me out quick. We went by Ceasar's Palace and stoped by Casa Fuente. I wasn't going to buy anything but my wife asked if I was and said I should buy one since we were there. I bought aa Casa Fuente torp since you can only get them there.

Monday I was not feeling great as the flight took a lot out of me.

Well I mostly had a good time.

That's awesome! I'm a huge fan. Can't wait to see the pics.

Sorry to hear about the food poisoning.

Too bad they didn't let you keep the pistol  THAT would have been cool.

A buddy of mine was in Vegas last Wednesday also. He called me from Casa Fuente and asked if I wanted him to bring me anything back. So now I got a couple of Casa Fuente churchills resting in the humi!! :p

I never go to buffets. Its part of my job to teach others about proper food safety and storage. this is what prevents me from goting to buffets. I just cant trust them knowing what i know.

it sounds like you had a good time besides that though.

Yeah it was fun. I am trying to forget the FP and just remember the good. I think I will take your advice about the buffets.

Martin;
We stayed at the MGM in Feb. for SHOT and we ate prime rib at a place in Excalibur, it was a good meal. We never did a buffet on that trip. Did you inform the mgnt. at Excalibur about your issue.

Gallagher's Steakhouse in NY is excellent but you have to call ahead.
Binion's over on Fremont would be my top choice, Great Beef! Old Vegas atmosphere.

We tried, but did not make the GHOST BAR on top of Sahara's. Awesome cigar bar with glass floor on the patio. That's on the list for next time.

RazorKing,

My friends and wife that were not sick went to the steak house in the Excalibur and said it was good. That Sunday I ate at the Venitian and had Sea bass which was really good and my first real meal after not eating for a day.

I had wanted to go to the Ghost Bar too, but with being sick I had to put that on the cancel list. Next time I will go.

Cheers

I think you've been misinformed. Ghostbar is in the Palms not Sahara's.
Wouldn't want people to look for some place and not be able to find it.
