Yeppers my hard drive took a big uh, how do I say this, Excrim, no that won't do, poo, no that's not it, uh, made a doo doo alright! Geezz harder than I thought. :? Anyway, $200 later and after re-loading and re-setting and re-swearing and headache and cold beer and many cigars, I'm back :D . I know I was missed 8) . Well, I should say I miss you guys and gals. I can't believe how much this internet thing has be by the short hairs  . I have been jones'n to check in with you all. Just so you don't worry, all is fine out here in California. I know you were worried  . The big quake aint hit yet and they have not taken away my guns (yet). I have been building a terrific inventory of cigars. I now need a bigger Humidor :x . I have a 150 and a 300 which is really an 85 and a 160 :? . This place has driven a wedge between my wife and I. She said she was so happy to come home tonight and NOT :!: see a cigar box sitting on the front steps. I hope she's late the rest of the week, LOL. The kids are gone and summer's here. I hope everyone is well, and God Bless!

Well I'm glad to hear from you!

Can't speak for anyone else.....

You were gone? I didn't even notice. Just kidding man. Glad to have you back. :p

Welcomd back brother!! And just wo you know for next time - I would have done it for 100 bucks, and you could have paid me in cigars!! LOL LOL!

Glad to see you back.

Geez, $200 for a HD? I paid $60 for a 300GB Maxtor to replace my HD. But it wasn't my HD afterall. So, I spent another $80 on a video card which was the actual culprit.

Don't you hate it when you mis diagnose like that????

I always have a complete computer as spare just so I can bench test faulty components.

I've discovered that most IT types love Chinese food: I think it's a job requirement.

I've got a buddy of mine at work for whom I buy lunch once in a while and he basically handles my computer problems (the one's I can't handle) for me. It's a nice tradeoff.

My wife has started referring to this site as my "girlfriend." She seems to take it with relatively good humor, but I do try to arrange the deliveries so she doesn't have to see them all... :hearseespeak:
