I JUST GOT A MACANUDO!

Being somewhat new to this forum and to cigars. I have been scared to death to buy this stick mainly because of the controversy I have read.

However, today at my local cigar shop there was a not to bad looking rep giving away cigars supposedly for the 4th of July. She was raving about the brand (of course that is her job) but I really wanted to say, "I have not heard many good things about that brand".

Anyway since she was giving some away for free, I got the Macanudo Robust. I will give you my thoughts on this cigar after I smoke it. I also bought some Rocky Patel 1990 and actually I may end up giving the Macanudo away for the fourth. Either way I have never smoke anything from Rocky Patel either so I will write some sort of a newbie review when I smoke either or both!

I saw a poster with about 3 of their reps. They were all women in their 20s. I can't help but think that was no accident.

I am very excited about these RPs. I still need to place an order for Cusano 18s, some of the 5 Vegas line, and a Cameroon label. I am anticipating all three of those. Neither of my local shops carry Cusanos nor the 5 Vegas line. Neither does JRs back home in NC. I will just have to order them from C.com I guess.

Those are definitely on my next to try list!
