I am new to the Cigar world and was wondering if and where you guys buy your cigars online.

I would like to buy a couple of small bundles and a sampler box of some kind to introduce myself to the world of cigars so any suggestions would be welcome.

Cheers

I agree with CastleCrest. Cigar.com is very helpful with selecting cigars for a new cigar smoker. If you call and talk to a rep they will guide you in the right direction.

You call those boys up at cigar.com. talk to Donny or Tim, and they will hook you up right!!

That is all you need to know, good luck, and welcome to the madness!!

don't forget to compare prices. some other places to consider are holts, cigars international and jr cigar.

Cigar.com is probably the best out. There aren't too many places that let you order singles. Not only do they have a GREAT selection, the customer service is second to none. Also be sure to ask for cigars that you don't see one the web site, including the CAO Sapranos.

in addition to Cigar.com im a fan of cigarinternational.com

cigar.com i feel, though, is a bit more personal

I also like Famous-Smoke.com because they have great prices on 5-packs of just about every brand.

... oh yea forgot about those guys

Well, I tend to shop for price and go by what's online. I normally don't take time to call.

I get the Cigar of the Month Club from Cigar.com. It's a good way to try some different cigars each month.

I also buy from Cigars International, JR Cigars, Famous Smokes, and a couple of others.

STAY AWAY FROM C-BID.. BAD PLACE. IT WILL RID YOU OF YOUR MONEY IN A HURRY. (sorry for shouting)

Agree with eveyone! Good suggestions, and of course cigarbid is the quickest way to drop your wallet thickness or have your credit card statement increase in size in a hurry!

Cigar.com has a fantastic group of customer service reps that are very good at helping you making good choices for your tastes, and if you do not have a specific taste refined yet, then they can lead you in the right directions.

Try everything, get involved in some trades, and find what you like!

Good luck and welcome to the madness...

I just got an order for CI the other day. Shipped very quickly. Only took three days. Plus, $5 shipping and no tax rocks.

I'll try cigar.com for my next order.

Thanks for all the great suggestions on websites. I really like JR, Cigar.com and CI the best so far by the looks of the website. I like to see what I am getting, especially as a noob.

Another question... What humidor would you suggest a beginner to buy. Big, Small, Glass Top, etc...

I assume since I am going to be getting some decent cigars, I would need one, or else I am just throwing money away...

Cheers,

Smoke

It's only BAD because you keep spending money there!

I have the same problem.
