Let me start by saying, Donny is a fine young man. I love talking with him and sharing my stories. His knowledge of cigars is amazing. The trouble is, I may have to move in with him soon. I hope his wife will understand......... Just kidding ( I hope ).....Donny talked me into buying a couple of Rocky Patel Olde World Maduros. Anybody want to buy a house? He is also responsible for my deep love of Rocky Patel Sun Grown. He sent me a couple of Gurkha Double Maduros, K. Hansotia Triple Ligeros. I mean, I'm glad he doesn't sell used cars. With that said.....let me say this..... The Rocky Patel Olde World Maduro is quite possibly the most unbelievable, fantastic, terrific, tasty, rich, full bodied, dreamy cigar I have ever smoked. From the very first whisp of smoke when lighting, to the burnt fingers, this cigar is pure heaven. I have never tasted anything so wonderful. I can't say it's spicy, cause it's not. I can't say it's sweet, cause it's not. I can say however that it's like pulling a nice warm blanket over your head when it's really really cold outside. I can say it's like drinking a cold beer when you're super thirsty. I won't say it's .....well let that go. There is a song that Tim Mcgraw sings called, "You can't tell me nothing" the line goes......"They say that drinkin will kill ya, the same thing about rollin smoke, well that's two of the three things that I like most......Can't tell me nothing!" I bet you get my meaning. You must smoke one of these Olde World Maduros. It's like when the kids are grown up and move out, you get your freedom back. Wow!!!

First Axe, now foodislife. The food people are returning, like the swallows returning to Capistrano. I'll take a creme brulee, followed by a nice slice of Black Forest cake, then we'll go with tiramisu, then I'll think on it. Welcome back, heard some good things about those cigars you named. Too strong for me, of course.

Good to see you back.

Bloof, isn't like the Salmon of Capistrano?

Anyways, after the prototypes I had, I'm looking forward to these. I picked up a few of the maduros when they first came out and a few corojos yesterday. I gave one of the maduros to a coworker in honor of a new baby, then the next day he was going on like you.

Maybe a maduro is in order for tomorrow...

Oh, Salman Capistrano, author of Jihad with Garlic and 101 other Italo-Muslim recipes.

:cryinlaugh: :help: :bolt:

One of my local shops just got a box of both in. I'll be stopping there today on my lunch hour to get a couple of each :)

You're right on when you say that Donny is a great guy.

Man, I never even heard of the Gurkha Double Maduros. Must be good.
