Yippie! $ 200 Gift Certificate for Cigar.com

So my parents gave me an early Christmas gift and got me a gift certificate of $ 200 for Cigar.com

But I'm not sure what to order. The only cigar's I've really liked are the Tatuaje, and they aren't currently in stock.

I tried an Arturo Fuente Hemmingway short story, and liked that quite a bit.

I also have a few cigars I have in my humidor waiting to be smoked. Among them a Padron 3000 (1990), a Montecristo white, and a Rocky Patel Vintage 1992.

Not sure if I'll like them, but I look forward to trying them.

So anyway, back on topic.

I'm asking for your advice on what to get. Like I've said the only cigar I've really enjoyed are the Tatuaje's. I also liked a CAO once, but I forgot which one.

Thanks fellas!

Jason

I would look into a box of Padron Anniversary Maduro's - 64's. Problem is, for me anyway, is finding someone to give me a $200.00 gift certificate.

Agreed. Those 64's are my favorite. Definitely get a handfull of them.

If it was me and you have not really found you palette yet, I would go diversified. What is the point of getting a box of PAM if you can not appreciate it?

Jason,

I may have a few Tatuaje Miami's hiding somwhere. Give me a call here at the office.

call and talk to one of their reps, discuss what you have liked/disliked with them. They are very helpful and will steer you in the right direction of a selection of sticks to try.

Get a bunch of samplers from c.com, including c.com's house brand sampler.

i agree with doc

id go with the best buy sampler
the double stack 90 rated sampler
c.com mixed sampler
CAO Conmemorativo Sampler w/ DVD
Torpedo Sampler

i think you could get all of that for under 200. you may even have some left.

CALL Tim or Donny at the 800#, and they WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU. If this is your first time ordering from C.com, tell them, and they will take BETTER CARE OF YOU. TRUST ME! You will NOT be dissappointed.

For my two cents I would say you should also pick up the CAO sampler. These are very good imho.

Jason,

We have Tatjuaje in stock, just not on the site. Also, if it were me, I would onto that and check out the site on 12/14/06 There will be a one day deal that will put all other one day deals to shame. One of my favorite cigars is being featured with a sweet accessory.

If you need other suggestions, check out Padilla Miami or Don Pepin Garcia. All of which are made by the guy who blends Tatuaje in the same factory.

Agreed. I wish I had remembered to mention my undeveloped palette. Thanks for bringing it up.

I would call, but sadly I don't hear too well over the phone (I'm legally deaf). Perhaps I can get my parents to do the talking for me.

Dock, Kuzi, & Travis. I'm taking a look at the samplers right now. Thanks for the suggestion!

Alex, I will do that. Thanks for the heads up! Those cigars sound great, I will order a stick of each. Do you sell those beads that keep the humidity at 65%? I looked, but couldn't find any. I'll look again while I'm here at C.com

if you email donny, tim, or any other of the cigar cunsultants and explain your sistuation im assuming they can talk to you about what you like or want via email.

i dont think ive even heard of anyone getting bad service from c.com.

ive never talked with donny or tim myself but they seem like great guys on the show.

Tim, Donny, and the other consultants will probably ask you questions about what you liked with previous cigars, so that they can guage which cigars to hook you up with. That's why they are called "cigar consultants."

nice Avatar - Is that Frazeta (sp?) by any chance? I love that guys art...my dad has a few of the statues - the Death Dealer is freak'n awesome!

Cooks, I will enjoy! And now I'll be able to have a decent amount of cigars so I can participate in box trades and stuff. 8)

Kuzi & Doc, thank you. I will e-mail them tomorrow morning.

Alex, is this the gel stuff?

If my humidor says 80% if I put that in there, will it asorb the extra moisture?

CigarSmoka, I actually don't remember where I got the link. I wish I did. Probably came across it when I was googling different images. I actually would like a poster of it, it's so cool.

Hmm, similar but not exact. Wouldn't be surprised if the artist copied this idea though

That's the Death Dealer alright!! I'll take a pic of the statue when I go home for X-mas....it's pretty sweet!

That is the gell. It will help with both obsorbing and releasing moisture, but to be perfectly honest, if you problem is too much humidity, you should try to find the beads.
