So seriously, is this the ONLY cigar that has buttery as well as creamy qualities to it?

I've had creamy with Ashton VSGs & Gurkha Master Selects but not buttery.

I wonder what kind of blending recipe they're using to get that buttery characteristic besides aging it

I think it has to do with the the exceptional oiliness of the cigar. This cigar has released more oil than most cigars I have seen of this age. It has a very buttery texture.

Try the HDM Excalibur 1066 Lancelot if you like buttery and creamy cigars.

Is that an aged cigar or something you can get year around?

If year around what do you think attributes to the buttery creaminess?

I figured if it was due to oil and age, then a lot of the well aged OpusXs out there would follow suit since they're pretty oily themselves.

The Lancelot is a churchill size. I can't remember what kind of tobacco it uses, but it certainly has a unique taste compared to many cigars. They may be a little tough to find at a local B & M, but they are readily available online either by the box or by the 5-pack. I tried a 5-pack and enjoyed them.

Thanks Chris. I've never had a buttery cigar. Creamy yes but not buttery. And everytime someone mentions the GPV 99s I get all excited.

I'll have to try those Excalibers
