I smoke a CAO Cameroon last night and loved it. How does the C.com Cameroon label compare to the CAO Cameroon? If they are similar then the house blen will be the way to go. A little easier on the wallet. Any opinions?

Thanks

Derk

In my humble opnion they compare very favorably. I'm not the resident Cameroon expert though so you may want some other input.

In my opinion the CAO is better, but the Cigar.com Cameroon Label is quite good and a wee bit cheaper, that's why I usually have a box of Cigar.com Cameroons on hand.

Personally I feel that the CAO brand tends to fall short. After you factor in the pirce, c.com cameroon are for me

Thanks for the input everybody. I guess the best way to find out is to try them huh.

Factoring in both flavor and price, you can't beat the c.com cameroon.

UH-oh, where's Capt. on this topic?

:D :D :D

Hey guys. I had a quick chance to stop in. Cigar.com Cameroon, IMHO, is hands down the winner between the two. The CAO tends to be a bit bitter on the finish, with sometimes harsh, musty transitions. The Cameroon label on the other hand, is smooth throughout, with no noticable bitterness on the finish.

And there you have it, lol!

Good to see your name Capt, hope all is well with you.

I have not tried the c.com cameroon, however the CAO cameroon is way to light IMHO. A nice smoke in the morning with a cup of coffee, but no where near as strong as I like my cigars.

I agree with you stp900. it is a very mild cigar but it sure is tasty. I tried a Don Pepin Garcia series JJ last night.. Talk about the opposite end of the spectrum. I had to lay down after I smoked it but it was a very enjoyable smoke. might have to eat more before I smoke the next one.

Thanks again for the input

I had a c.com cameroon courtesy of Brenda and I have to say I prefer it over the CAO version.

Very tasty, priced nicely and lasted from start to finish without getting icky.

I prefer the c.com cameroon over the CAO cameroon in both taste and value.
H Upmann vintage cameroon is also very good.

c.com version without a doubt. The CAO cameroon wrappers are kinda flat in my opinion. If you like cameroon wrappers, try a Fuente hemmingway series cigr. You can thank me later.

Speaking of the Hemmingway series, I love the WOAM. The natural version of the WOA is just as good? I havent tried it yet.

YES, better in some ways.

Go with c.com all the way around. I tried a CAO today as a matter of fact and it was less than expected. I much prefer c.com. For the price difference and taste difference c.com is the way to go .Always have a box on hand.
