Enjoying Life!
I am looking for sugestions. My favorite cigar is the Padron 1926 40th Anniversary. I also truly Enjoy the standard 1926. I was wondering if anyone has any sugestions on a cigar somewhat similar to thos two without the price tag?

Wow, you go to the top and work your way down. LOL. I would suggest trying some of the 1964 Anniversary Line, specifically the Imperial Maduro. That is a great cigar and a little easier on the wallet.

I got turned on early with those. I actualy have about a dozen or so of the 1926 40th anniversary in my locker at the cigar shop. My local shop actualy sold them at $22 a stick for a while so I snatched all I could up.

The 1964 Natural Anniversary is my absolute favorite. I have yet to find something similar.

You should check the La Aurora Cien Años line - probably my favorite cigar all around and cigar.com has them in the $11 - $15 range. That's pretty comparable price-wise to the 1964 I think.

The Cien Anos is a wonderful cigar. I like them so much that I give the company free advertising *points to avatar* 8)

Im not sure if I have just one favorite cigar, depends on my taste that day, what size I feel like smoking, what I just ate, where I am at. Here would be my list of current favorites arranged by price.

$3-4 - Padron 3000, Cusano 18 Maduro, Punch Gran Puro

$5-6 - La Aurora 1495, Hemingway Short Story, CAO Brazilia, ERDM Choix Supreme

$7-8 - Pepin Garcia Blue Label, Fuente Don Carlos, Ashton VSG

$9-10 - Padron 64, RP Olde World, Oliva Master Blends 1

$12-14 - Opus X, La Aurora Cien Anos, La Flor Dominica Box Press

$14 and up - La Aurora Preferidos, Opus X, Padron 26

Those are what came off the top of my head. Most nights it doesn't matter what I smoke, as long as I can sit down at the days end and light up then I am happy.

I agree with Cloudy. It's difficult to pin down just one cigar. There's just so much good stuff out there, and it sometimes just depends what kind of mood you're in that day.

Its like trying to pick out which of my kids I love more. Actually its tougher; the kids do things to piss me off an talk back so I know which ones I like more at the time.

In case my wife is reading the above post is just a joke, settle down.

I really like the Padron 1926 for non cuban cigars. The body is really full and coating; just like a really good Cabernet Savignon. A totally great smoke. I will take one any day over an Opus X.

Totally agree!

According to my cigar cataloging software, my favorite is currently:

La Perla Habana Black Pearl Rojo Robusto

But my experience is still pretty limited.

ive been holding off posting in this thread because all of you know what i am going to say.

my favorite go to cigar is the 5 vegas type "A" I try NOT to smoke these often even though they dont cost much because i dont want to get burned out on them.

recently i have found a new love for Punch Gran Puro.

my two highest rated cigars in my catalog are the 5 Vegas type A
with a 9.3 (of 10) and the Gurkha Centurian also with a 9.3

i also have to give an honorable mention to the Gurkha Class Regent with a 9.2, Cusano Corojo 1997 with a 9.2, and Camacho Havana Also with a 9.2.

My favorite go to cigar is the 5 vegas classic. Just a very well made and tasty cigar.

Good choices. I am moving out of my locker today and into my home humi, I will have $90 store credit, I am looking to buy a box of something, still can't decide, for under $200. Any good suggestions?

You cant go wrong with ANY of the 5 Vegas line. you will like them enough to keep smoking them. I like the A type. Many here like the Limitada. A good morning smoke is the Gold.

another inexpensive box of cigars is Sancho panza.

I think all of there mentioned are under $100 so go ahead... get two.

Thanks for the sugestion. I rarely smoke cigars in the morning, should probably quite cigerettes and switch to cigars, what I am looking for is a nice medium every day cigar that would go good with a Belgium or say Gran Marnier
