Just wondering what anyone else was having after their meal of Corned beef & cabbage? I will have a few Guinness with dinner and afterwards a Tullamore Dew w/ a little water and a La Aurora Preferido Emerald #2 which I bought at cigar.com a few months ago and have been waiting for a good occasion to fire it up. I am salivating in anticipation!

La Aurora Preferido Emerald suits the occasion very well but unfortunately i dont have one so i think tatuaje comes to mind.

Happy St. Paddys Day

ooohh...Tullamore Dew is some good stuff. I'm pretty sure I'll be hitting that up tonight too. Hopefully with a nepalese warrior, but it's only in the 30s around here.

I had a Padilla Achilles earlier, might go for something more full bodied in a bit.

Went out with my g/f to a bar last night and took a La Aurora Emerald Preferido. Came home from the bar with the same cigar. Oh well, I wouldn't have enjoyed it anyways, way too loud and too many Irish for a day rookie drunks everywhere. It will meet a flame a little later today.

I smoked a Padron 1926 No. 6 Natural. What a great cigar! The draw was a bit loose but the burn was excellent. The coffee bean flavors came through well. Lots of depth in this cigar. You simply cannot go wrong with any Padron.

Had a PLPC on Friday as part of my Celebration of the BB tourney and St. Patties day (on the real day I had to work). It was a good cigar, but still too young to be a great cigar.

Unfortunatly I didn't have the oppertunity to burn anything...NYC is not very smoke friendly any longer and I wasn't with the crowd who would be able to sit down for about an hour and smoke...

I smoked a Tatuaje Reserva. This was my first Tatuaje and was very enjoyable. I also celebrated the day with a Guinness (more than one).

i did a SANCHO PANZA maduro [quixote] and a nice,
big cold GUINESS!!!

it was like the 'gar and brew were made for each other!!

perfect compliment! they should start selling a guiness
with a PS maddie strapped on the can! :D 8)

i am really getting a thing for these sancho sticks. i
really never thought i would find a REAL daily that
would suit me because my tastes are so wide on the
smoke i like, but i am finding myself really craving these
sticks!!

they just have a taste that makes me think about them
all day, and i end up doing one even after i have burned up
one of my snooty 'gars. it's like the day aint complete
unless i satisfy this crave for the taste.

reminds me of an old girlfriend..........

Great post, Smart Ash. Sounds like a great idea. Match the perfect cigar with the perfect bottle of beer or booze. I havent' had a Sancho Panza in some time. I think I will stop and buy a few tomorrow! Sounds like a good discussion topic. Match a cigar with a beer , wine or booze. This needs some thought !

Hey Smart Ash.....

I had a buddy who lived in Gilbert for 4 or 5 years. I visited your burg once! What are the chances???

Is the Baja Fresh still there??

Early that day I also had a Camacho Candela, which had been in the humidor since last years St. Paddy's Day. Then later in the evening I had a Pidilla and a couple of Guiness, and something called a Irish Car Bomb, a shot of Irish Wiskey in a Guiness.

Gurkha Legend, black and tan, on a balcony overlooking Bourbon Street, watching a parade, and throwing beads.

Twoputts,

It doesn't get much better than that! Hopefully you had enough beads to feed the eye candy!!

:p
