When you untangle the three sticks in a culebra, are they straightenable? Or do they remain bendy? Does this make them awkward to smoke? Has anyone tried smoking them together as one?

They do not straighten, if you try to they will break. They're not that awkward to smoke, just a little weird. Smoking all three as one will not work very well.

Wolfie is spot on. You'll be smoking a corkscrew..but cool is as cool does....

The best move I have heard of is to take one to a sit-down, split it up and smoke them with 2 other great BOTL/SOTL.....

My .02...

Hmmmmm... Maybe Axe, but he disappeared! I am just kidding, I am sure anyone here would want the third one.

I'll take the third. Now comes the problem of a get together.

In all seriousness, I am probably going to pull the trigger on a couple of these (Illusione) bad boys sometime this week. Problem is: the only guy from this forum even remotely close is twoputts. Maybe what I will do is smoke one with him and then randomly mail the other to someone on this forum.

I was unaware that Illusione was doing a twist..interesting.
Thanks for the info Andrew!!

Rob- your welcome brother. I haven't even heard of Illusione cigars until a couple weeks ago. Spent the last week sampling the various sizes and have decided that they all kick ass. A'/Double Corona, Lancero and Petit Corona in particular are personal favorites at this moment.

Matter of fact, now that ESPN went out during the freakin baseball game, I may just step outside and smoke another. Coincidence?

Capt- I live in Kalamazoo. One of these days when your driving through you ought to stop. Me, yourself and twoputts could go and cause some minor trouble around town. 8)

K-zoo isn't that far from me at all. I am up for it when you two are!

K-Zoo - man you guys know how to make some beer! I used to go up there a lot.

Those Illusione's are good!

Capt. Let me get with twoputts and see what his schedule is like for the next few weekends, I can then either pm you or mail you and we could possibly have a sit down. There is a small tavern downtown that is cigar friendly, they also have a nice outdoor patio. Even better, if you came down on a festival weekend we could just hang out there.

Thor, right on brother! I'm guessing you were drinking some Bells. That place has been around forever- I think Larry Bell started selling his stuff around 1984. Right across the street from Bells is a German style brewer, Kraftbrau. They make some incredible beers, the Kolsch and Dopplebock being two of them. The real attraction with these places is that they don't bother with trends or whatever the microbrew of the week is. It's all about traditional styles.

One of these days boh of you got to pay a visit. It's a beer drinkers paradise here. 8)

Can y'all take this to PM? I keep coming back here when there are new posts thinking there's more info on these cigars I asked about and it's just y'all planning a get together (which, had it been in Seattle I would've invited myself too ;) ).
