as far as over seas goes (cos you cant buy or bring cubans in the good ol' US of A) make sure the store is selling genuine cubans. Most Canadian stores are good for that. If you go down the southern boarder its another story. But in canada they will usually have a sign that says if they are certified.

Our Canadian members can sound off and let you know more but you will pay at least 180% on any cigar you buy there.

I've seen fake ones with the signs saying they are a Habanos dealer. Best bet is to go here: Link Removed by Barcochris It's the webpage of the Canadian Habanos distributor. Click on the "Shops" link at the top, and well you can figure out the rest. Should list all the authorized Habanos shops on whichever province you choose.

You need to remember that for those of us that live here, Cuban's aren't a big deal. They sell them in a ton of stores (I have 4 cuban dealers within walking distance of my office). It's totally different than the tourist traps you may see in the south.

Still really expensive!
I pay 1/2 of what you pay.
My uncle lives up North & is a pretty serious cigar smoker.
We have compared note many times.
You guys are getting ripped!!!!!

Sad to say yes. It really is bad up there. At least what i have seen for cubans. Is it the same for all smokes? If we are not careful here in America ALL our smokes are going to be that expensive. Ouch!
