Hello folks, I'm new to this forum but been on the M1 forum for a while. This maybe a dumb question but I'm just getting ready to start enjoying cigar smoking and I don't know if you are supposed to remove the cellophane wrapper or not when putting the cigs into the humidor? Any help please?
Thanks, Al

LOL... Sorry but this is the oldest question in the book.

Honestly it does not matter. if you are going to handle the cigars a lot I would leave it on, but cut it off at the foot,(end of the cigar) this will allow it to age a bit faster but still be protected.

it is just personal preference

Hey corsair! Welcome to this part of the forum!

As far as the cello goes, I used to take mine off but found out it doesn't really matter unless you are aging your sticks. A cigar will age better with the cello off. Another thing to consider is the size of your humi. If you have a big one and sticks are stacked on each other, you might have to do some digging to get to the one that you want. The cello will help your precious sticks from getting bunged up when you go digging on the bottom.

Again, welcome!!!
