The hills and the hollers
I walked into the B&M today and Patrick was waiting for me like a lost puppy to sell me his latest pick up, Tatuaje EL Triunfador.

I had heard nothing about it until today. Apparently it is very limited production and only sent to a limited number of retailers.

"El Triunfador is the newest cigar from Pete Johnson, owner of the extremely successful Tatuaje brand. El Triunfador features Nicaraguan binder and filler, and a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. The wrappers are naturally dark, and no maduro processing has been used. The flavor and body profile of El Triunfador is VERY similar to Pete's Cabaiguan Maduro blend. El Triunfador is an old Cuban brand and features artwork very similar to the original Cuban artwork. The bands and simple stand-up boxes of 25 cigars. Extremely limited production."

It is a beautiful stick. I could only get 2 by B&M rules, so i got my allotment and will store them for a bit.

Has anyone tried on of these?

Check over at HCF. I know there is a review there in the non cuban forum.

I am hoping to try one of these when I go home for Thanksgiving. A fantastic BOTL has one waiting for me. I can't wait! I've heard great things about these.

I have found these to be quite like La Riqueza except in a Lancero format. I think they're good, but they still need some time. I picked up a box to put a way for at least a few months.
