Some love them, some don't. I had my first about a year and a half ago with European Selection churchills. I liked the CT better than the Habano but not enough to become a Gurkha fanatic. Then I got a few deals on other Gurkha's like the Monogram, Copper Label and Crest- all pretty good cigars. I started buying Gurkha's like the end of the line was today. I now have or have tried over 50 varieties, three of which are the best cigars I ever smoked. A few others I've tried are very good and may join the top 3. So far there is only one that I didn't like and that was maybe a Thompson exclusive-Havana selection CT torpedo. They do have a massive line and some get a bit expensive-but I have yet to reach the $ 5 limit I have for a cigar's price and I've found most of them to be pretty darn good. I can't wait for spring and warmer weather so I can smoke more of them under the proper conditions.

There is a Connecticut Gurkha that I really love. I don't remember which one it is unfortunatley. I remember when I first started smoking cigars, all of the big Internet retailers like cigar.com, cigar bid, and cigar international were really pushing Gurkha. And then they were big into pushing Rocky Patel. I have bought and smoked my fair share of Gurkhas. Like you Tony, a few I have really liked, but most for me were somewhat unremarkable.

I had the Red Witch the other day and pretty much liked it. I may buy a box very soon.

My favorite Ghurka is the Doble Maduro, but my smoking record shows that the Expedition, and Symphony also rate very highly.
