How many cigars have you smoked??

I have kept a spreadsheet of almost every cigar I have smoked since 2007, and the grand total is 797. Not bad for a guy that can only really smoke 9 months of the year. (The other three are just to darn cold, and I cannot smoke in the house).

Ha I have no idea! I did keep every band for the first 3 years. Only recently sent them all away to an artist who will use them in her art.

I guess in my 6 years of smoking I've smoked 800+

No clue how many - but now that I have had the heart issues - I am down to 1 to 2 a month after promises to the family and the cardiologist. 797 is what I used to do in a golf season.

I don't mean to quote myself, but I was thinking about this. I have smoked way more than 500. I smoke at least 3 a week. That's over 150 a year, x 5 years=750 minimum.

Oh, and I save my bands. I have a butt load of bands. I guess I'll need to count them.

Gotta be around 5,000. Even smoked 2 robustos today in cold windy weather while shoveling more snow (at times blowing horizontally).

I thought I was the only one that did that. I stopped saving every one of them several years ago. I started a band poster(?) a while back on a canvas using decoupage as the adhesive. so far, it looks really nice. It will make a nice addition to my man cave.

frst cigar was in 1955 a marsh wheeling, some of you havent been born yet, ,smoked a pipe off & on when I was in the Navy, didnt have space to store enough cigars for a criuse, , back then I was smoking machine made , then in the early 70's I was given a hand rolled Fuente ,,,,, now on a good day I can smoke 10 , but over the winter i am at a 5 or 6 average per day so lets be easy on my lungs & money clip & say it was 1974 & a 5 a day average , 39 years @ 5 a day , thats 1800 a year, so i am looking at 70K+ give or take a few hundred ,,,,,, DONT even think about the cash I have spent on Cigars & scotch over my life time, ( & cars when I was younger...... Now i drive them till they DIE) ) Depending on how you count I might be higher, since i didnt count all the stuff between 1955 & 1974 ,,, thats 19 years even at 3 a day, that is about 1100 a year so add an other 21K to the total ,,,,,,, so that is about 91K give or take a few here & there , so far for 2013 the count is ZERO ,& so far so good on the scotch,,,,, didnt open anything today ,,,, back to work in the morning & I am sure that will all change , the morning commute will be a Don Carlos #3 , coffee & when i get to the shop & get everything ready for the day , it will be time for a wee dram of an 18 YO Macallen
Happy New Year to all, Enjoy, Vince

So far in 2013 I've already smoked about 50 cigars. That's about the amount that I smoked for the whole years of 2012. I am really enjoying cigars now more than ever.

I must be at 50 or higher so far this year even in the cold. I need to revise my lifetime total upwards after looking at all the boxes in the garage from the years of Muniemakers, Topper, Topstone, Judges Cave, Evermore and even a Farnam Drive. I would say I'm up to 10,000.

Hey Harry perhaps you didn't notice, but this is a forum about cigars and we really don't want to hear about your uncle's cigarettes. Where the hell is BD ?
I once worked at BD.

Sam,

Why don't you go over to the new members section and post an introduction.

BTW, we had a member named samreddevil that got banned a couple of months ago. "Samreddevil" and "samredarmy". Hmm. What a coincidence. Are you guys related? You have the same umm, ACCENT.

But he's not saying much, just commenting on a few topics, one of them 6 years silent. Not sure who or what the post here was aimed at, but if you smoke 2 cigars a day you will smoke 10,000 in less than 13.7 years.
