frst cigar was in 1955 a marsh wheeling, some of you havent been born yet, ,smoked a pipe off & on when I was in the Navy, didnt have space to store enough cigars for a criuse, , back then I was smoking machine made , then in the early 70's I was given a hand rolled Fuente ,,,,, now on a good day I can smoke 10 , but over the winter i am at a 5 or 6 average per day so lets be easy on my lungs & money clip & say it was 1974 & a 5 a day average , 39 years @ 5 a day , thats 1800 a year, so i am looking at 70K+ give or take a few hundred ,,,,,, DONT even think about the cash I have spent on Cigars & scotch over my life time, ( & cars when I was younger...... Now i drive them till they DIE) ) Depending on how you count I might be higher, since i didnt count all the stuff between 1955 & 1974 ,,, thats 19 years even at 3 a day, that is about 1100 a year so add an other 21K to the total ,,,,,,, so that is about 91K give or take a few here & there , so far for 2013 the count is ZERO ,& so far so good on the scotch,,,,, didnt open anything today ,,,, back to work in the morning & I am sure that will all change , the morning commute will be a Don Carlos #3 , coffee & when i get to the shop & get everything ready for the day , it will be time for a wee dram of an 18 YO Macallen
Happy New Year to all, Enjoy, Vince
