What its the best cigar u ever smoked subscribe were u were while u smoked it

Good idea.

Back in November I smoked a La Flor Dominicana with my brother-in-law in San Antonio at the Menger Hotel (google it). That was a damn fine cigar. I also smoked a Fuente Hemingway Masterpiece in the same bar that Teddy Roosevelt used to recruit his Rough Riders in. Smoked a great Illusione in Silverthorne, Colorado with the same brother-in-law.

But perhaps the best cigar I ever smoked was a Habano RASS with my dad on his back porch a few years ago. He passed away a little over a year ago. I'd like to burn one with him now.

Ambience and company make all the difference in a cigar. It can make a crappy cigar good, and a good cigar superb.

I have to go the Gurkha Special Ops toro I had sitting on a bench while on a trip to Cape Cod. Just me and a beer or 2 on a pleasant October day.
I do enjoy smoking more with friends, but sitting outside is a bit problematic in New England winter.

IMO the best cigar to me is the one I'm smoking currently as all the others are no good to me anymore (because I can't smoke them again).

Not the answer I'm sure you were looking for though, just my opinion.

The best cigar I ever smoked was my 50th birthday cigar 5 years ago, a La Aurora Ruby. It was a great summer day, and a great cigar.

best cigar i have ever had was an Avo 22.

it was awesome. had some musk and woody notes. coffee undertones and cinnamon finish. very complex very smooth. i will probably never see another one in my entire life. this one was given to me by a friend at a cigar shop. his only stipulation was that i smoked it right then and there.

if you ever get your hands on one, you should feel special. you will feel special once you smoke it. it proves that god exists.

Oh yeah - I agree. It's something that Bloofington would always say.

That being said - the best one that I have smoked in the past is a Cohiba Sublime. It was a 2 1/2 hour smoke and I was sitting up at the Castle with Castlecrest and Bobberrific. We all were smoking them. The cigar was unreal and the conversation was fantastic. HIs fresh Mexican coffee was a great paring.

I really liked this question. Describing the details of when I smoked was a great idea.

A Creedo Pythagoras that I smoked in at Tioga Pass outside of Yosemite back in the late summer of 2001. I bought them in NYC in 1999. It was among the last Creedo's I had. I miss them. I'd stick pins in a voodoo doll of the suit who discontinued the Creedos if I knew what he, she or it looked like.

I'm finding it to be a search for the holy grail of cigars. The "best" cigar has had 3 new champions in the last year and I haven't smoked one of the previous years best in over a year- tho I have around 20 aging. I must have 30 or 40 different cigars (many in multiples) that I haven't smoked one of yet in storage and I'm still looking for that supreme smoke and I hundreds yet that I want to try. And if you don't try them now, they may not be available again---anyone see any Avo 22's for sale lately ?
