WOW! so today i smoked my third cigar ever... i picked this up at the cigar shop by me, and what caught my eye was the glass tube it came in, i also bought myself a torch lighter, because i got tired of the wind blowing out my matches... guy at the cigar shop also hooked me up with a free cigar cutter :) but anyways, lets talk about my smoke...

i used my new cutter and got a nice clean cut , i toasted it a bit and purged it on the flame... a beautiful cherry looking burn was at the tip of my cigar...this was the first cigar i have ever smoked where i got some really, really nice flavors out of it.. throughout the entire cigar i kept tasting peanuts! like a very creamy peanut, and when i purged my cigar, i would get a reallly really flavorful peanuty thick white smoke, it was just great.. definetly the best cigar ive ever had !!!

I think Macanudos are great beginner's cigars. I have only smoked a couple, and one was the Cru Royale I believe it was called. It was a pretty good cigar.

I've never bought a Macanudo or a Montecristo, but I have smoked a few of each. I've found them to be too mild and too expensive for my taste.

DL - remember when we all did that blind taste test? If I recall correctly, the Macanudo scored really high when we tallied up the ratings.

if you like the mac , try a Vega Fina in the white box or a Bahia maduro a bundle cigar that is well made & L O W cost, Enjoy, Vince
