Not sure if I spelled Torquino right.
A friend of mine had a place to get this Cuban Coffee.
It is a wonderful coffee.
Very rich a strong expresso like flavor.
This is one of my wife's favorite coffee,
right there with the JBM peaberry.
I have never seen it for sale at any of the places I shop green beans.
Worth the price of the ticket to see this show.
I can put this bean in the top 5 list of my favorites.
The problem is that I have only sampled about 10-15 coffees.
That makes it easy!
To be fair, there are a few beans I am not "in love" with.
But Misa (My wife) likes a dark roast so I can bring any bean into
that darkness where some of the subtle flavors are lost and they all start to taste the same.

That makes another one I've got to put on my list. But I don't think my local roaster handles it! :D

Next week Bloof expect another care package.
i just got some Brazzilian Mogiana that is a very different flavor profile
than I am used to. Tastes like Salty peanuts & almonds.
Not on my top 5 but a must try.

I swore I would never get into Black Magic, but this has taken over my soul & heart!

I have say that I am a Turquino Junkie!
This is some of the VERY BEST coffee I have ever drank.
(sorry Bloof, have not had time to roast for you, monday morning a package goes out)
This coffee is very rich in flavor, the flavor is deep seated and
fully covers the spectrum of my palate.
It has a very high note that stricks the palate with a sweetness
& yet hold the flavor and seats itself with a rich expresso like tone.
(just learning to describe coffee flavors - bear with me)
If ever you get a chance to sample this bean - Jump on it!
Tasting note to come from the Bloof-Master next week)
