Alright ladies and gentleman (and I use that term loosely) - it's time to see if anyone is interested in another coffee/cigar pass!

For those wishing to participate, the process is as follows:

I will randomly assign four people to each person in the pass. You will send that person at least 1/4 pound of coffee and 1 cigar. More is fine, but not expected/required. There will be a mystery as you will only know who you are sending to, not who is sending to you.

If you're interested in doing this, sign up now!

That would be correct - but, since most of us don't roast our own - most of us would be sending coffee we bought from local roasters.

If you'll have me, I'd be in.
I'm no roaster, and I don't know of a "local" roaster. Are we talking beans from shops and such that we enjoy??

Rob the coffee thread newbie.....

A lot of us order our roasted beans from high quality, reputable merchants like Green Mountain, Peet's, Sweet Maria's, Unclebeanz, etc. I've taken the lazy way out over the past few years, since I happen to be in NYC so often, for work purposes. In NYC, there is Oren's, currently celebrating their 20th anniversary, and is another one of the fine roasting establishments around. They can all be located on the internet.

anyone familiar with Melitta(?) coffee??
Their plant is about 3 miles from me now that I think about it, and if you drive on Rt 295 at the right time, you will smell roasting coffee in the air. Kinda like Hershey Park smells like chocolate.....
