Uncle Beanz Media Luna. . . .

I'm winding down my consumption of the five coffees I recently purchased from Uncle Beanz. That will certainly not be my last order.

I'm finished plowing through my 12 oz. bag of this wonderful blend, a 50-50 blend, according to the invoice. Now, of course, I'm not about to ask or speculate as to what the origin of the two beans might be. That's intellectual property, and I know plenty about that from typing all those documents at We Can Kick Your Law Firm's Ass.

One bean is dark roasted, not terribly so, but dark for sure, perhaps FC, although I'm not familiar as an expert with the various roasting shades. My familiarity is as an . . .

intermediate, I guess. One bean is light roasted. No peaberry here, just two different regular beans, the light ones being very large in some cases. And as I went through nearly the whole bag, I kept trying to reach for my review.

Wrong, of course. You shouldn't reach for a review, it should just come naturally. And that was why I had trouble doing the review, because each time I drank it, I loved it, but nothing unusual or remarkable came from it, except of course, the overall flavor, delicious.

So, then you go walking around for a few days going, what's wrong, this usually comes easy, I usually get it done on the first pot, etc., etc., blah, blah, Bloofy blah.

And then it hit me. This coffee is perfect. It's the perfect blend, the perfect combination of the strong, smoky, chocolate layer cake like, wake up flavors of the dark roasted bean, and the delicious caramel from the lighter roasted bean that marks the finish of each sip, especially as the coffee cools.

This is an every day drinking coffee, even all day, a flavor I could never get tired of, the perfect coffee.

The Uncle Beanz Exxxperience, . . .

get it now. Go to his web site, and make sure you order some Media Luna, the perfect coffee. You'll love it, and it's a great coffee for guests, perfectly balanced, not too much of one type of flavor or effect. It's a great wake up coffee, but also a beautiful coffee to just sit and sip in a relaxed fashion, out on the deck, watching the birds, or in your boat, perhaps out on "The Sound."

Uncle Beanz Media Luna. Remember that, because you should keep a steady supply of this at all times, another go to coffee, perhaps the ultimate Go To Coffee.

It's a varied and ever changing menu of items, many rare and unique, one of the things I like most about Uncle Beanz. Even some of the great and well respected coffee roasters have a tendency to standardize on roast shade and items offered. Uncle Beanz prefers the "small batch" method, with attention to quality control, not getting too big for his britches. Expansion is great, but not at the expense of quality, as we've seen with some big name coffee chains.

Completely agree Bloof. Norm is also a standup guy. He has no problem giving you a ring if he is out of stock on something and offering you something elso or changing your order. I have had nothing but good experiences with him!

A stand up guy indeed, and not likely to change, except for the better. I'm shut off from the use of my bank account for now and the foreseeable future, so I'll have to order by mail for a while. A Postal Money Order will be going out to Uncle Beanz real soon, since I finished the last of the five coffees I ordered from him days ago.
