The hills and the hollers
Going to get this rolling right!
I was given a Cohiba Behike by my (hopefully) future boss yesterday. Said we would smoke it when the smoke settled.
I never thought I would get my hands on one of these bad boys! But here she is! I will let you know how AMAZING it is when I smoke it! :p

The band is very awesome in itself. The head in the head, the raised letters and the Cohiba hologram. Very cool stuff!

Connor, Not that it matters, but is this from the original relase? I think they first came in a humidor that was supper high end, If I am not mistaken it went for like 50K and the cigars were numberd.

No
The box is ornate, but i do not think it would run for 50k!
I think he said they were 400 or 450 for a box of 10.
I will get a shot of the box if i can

That would be cool.. I know I will never smoke one.. I hope you enjoy the hell out of it!

I got to smoke one last night with a glass of Lagavulin (quickly becoming my favorite drink)

To be honest, this was not the greatest smoke ever. The draw was tight and the smoke was on the thin side. The first half was mild and earthy but a bit bland. I could tell there was potential and since this one was right out of the box it may be it just needs rest, because the last third opened up and became a nice smoke, earthy, peppery, and creamy with a nice kick. I thought it was the libations, but when I got home I could tell it was not the drink that had me feeling a bit woozy.
I have one more and will more than likely let it rest for a while.

Nice review! I've always wanted to try this stick (who doesn't!) but never have been willing to fork over the cash for it. Let us know how the next one is after some age!

Never smoked a Cohiba Behike, but I can't think of a better combination then a Lagavulin 16YO - probably my all-time favorite single malt.
