I'm in the market for a new pipe. I want to get a higher end pipe to celebrate the birth of my son. Any suggestions?

I guess that is a rather subjective question. I'm looking to spend $200 - $300 max. I'll take a look at the sight and see if he has anything that sparks my interest.
Thanks,
Sam

Keep in mind the pipes on that site are estate pipes.

I would look at http://www.iwanries.com to get an idea, or to buy. I have bought several pipes from them, great service and fast shipping. I agree with Eli, Nording are the BEST bang for the buck. I have a few myself, and my all-time favorite is a Nording Hunter 2003 whitetail. Good luck!

Will do. I haven't decided on one yet, but I'll find the "right" one.

Beautiful. Makes me want to pick up pipe smoking even more now. Growing up my dad always smoked a pipe with bourbon flavored Borkem Riff (sp?) tobacco. I'm sure thats probably considered the Swisher Sweet of pipe tobacco but even that stuff smelled good.

Fine Pipes International has some of the most interesting estate pipes I've seen on the market.

The proprietor is a pipe historian. Just reading the entries in the site gives you a whole new perspective on fine pipes and what they're about.
