Got lucky at a B&M that's about 30 minutes away yesterday. Picked up some GLP Maltese Falcon, MacBaren Dark Twist (great stuff) and GLP Odyssey. The Odyssey tin was dusty and had a faded plastic top. It was dated 7/26/05. This will be the first time I've had any aged pipe tobacco and I'm looking forward to it. I was surprised to see it there but it seemed as though everybody was picking the new tins from around it and leaving the dirty tin there on the shelf. If only they knew....

BTW - if you like Virginias or even just mild aromatics, the Dark Twist is incredible. It uses a spiced cavendish that gives a hard to describe sweet flavor that's out of this world. The little coins of tobacco are a bonus as well. I like flakes and this is a little different presentation than I've seen before. You can rub them out or stack them in your pipe like pancakes.
