ummmmmmmmm, . . .

unique about No. 15, Henry McKenna 10 year old 100 proof single barrel bonded bourbon.

There's always been a "different" flavor in there, not a flavor of "classic" or "summertime" bourbon, but unique enough not to detract from the flavor profile while still being kind of "weird", eh mates?

IT'S THE BAY LEAF!!!

Well, I'll be a horse's petoot!!! Bay leaf in the bourbon!! What won't they think of next!!! Tart and spicy oak with bay leaf and honey.

Henry McKenna 10 year old 100 proof single barrel bourbon. Nicely priced. Unusual, very pleasing.

I remember that from your list, can't seem to find it local, gonna hit Boston on Thursday night, I'm sure I'll find it. Bay leaf, who'd a thunk...

And I only discovered it because of that little bartender from Dracut, who brought me a bottle and a few cigars that day in July two years ago, when he came down for our first meeting. Gotta send that man an e-mail. He's supposedly been coming back to N.Y.C. for the past six to nine months, but I still haven't seen him. If you run into HojoMania, tell him I said hello. You remember him, the guy that looks like Babe Ruth shrunk about ten inches and came out talking like Joe Pesci.
