Two new ryes in the house. . . .

Friday's delivery brought two new ryes to my humble abode, which because of a brutal 7 hour, 20 minute yard work session yesterday can no longer be referred to as 1313 Mockingbird Lane. I actually have a working lawn mower, which does a decent job, nicely squared off hedges, clean lines, a neat look, with just a wee bit of work left in the back and a little minor stuff to do in the hedge on the side of the driveway.

But as for those ryes, they are:

Rittenhouse, 100 proof, bottled in bond, no age statement, a tasting over the weekend, review to follow if the mysterious extension to the bourbon/rye season continues.

Pikesville, 80 proof, four years old, a tasting over the weekend, more to follow.

Since the firm has requested that I not make my presence known tonight due to an extreme dearth of document processing, I am enjoying the end of a bottle of my No. 5, Old Overholt and resting the Olde Bonezz in front of FOX(y)-News.

Looking forward to the reviews. The brevity of the reviews kills me. You gotta learn to tell a story. HA HA!!!
