This 91 proof offering from the Old Pogue Distillery does not have an age statement. It's nice stuff, but way too consistently sweet, no snap, no spice to break up the sweetness, and like another bourbon I had recently, has a distinct flavor of orange marmalade. Unfortunately, that's the downfall of this bourbon, too, if it has one. After trying 58 bourbons, this is definitely not one of those I hate, but probably lands in the No. 46-51 range, which is bourbons I feel rather indifferent about. I got this on sale for the "walkout price" of $37.92 ($34.99+tax). Not bad, but I will not buy it again.

Maker's Mark pleases me more, and I am by no means a huge fan of Maker's Mark, although it does fall in the No. 40-45 range, still among those I would drink just about any time.
