Looking for some feedback/or your opinions on this beer, Ive noticed my select sales have been on the decline the last couple of months

I had it a while ago when it first came out and thought it was ok. It didn't really do anythign for me. There was nothing about it that stood out. Now Bud and Bud light will always sell; but I am trying to figure out what part of the market segment Bud Select is going for. I am not sure what its competion is.

You pretty much summed it up phish. It is unremarkable, however it is better than either Bud offerings.

According to AB ,Select is the young "hip" beer targeting 21-35 year olds. Too me (I drink only AB domestic beer) it has the same somwhat full flavor as reg. Bud with less carbs and calories.

The marketing is ok for it, but I think the product itself just doesn't do enough for it to stand out. I think this is just another attempt to grab market share with advertising instead of a solid product. I don't think they will offer it for tyoo much longer. I don't even know any bars that offer it. I think that next time they need to come up with a prodcut that differentiates itself from others more than select did and then go for the marketing pitch. I think they did it opposite with this one (this is all speculation).

If they really want to grab more market share; they should buy a smaller product that is doing well and let them keep doing what they do well. Or better yet; a product that is good but the marketing and business side is not doing well and revamp that. They are great at distribution and marketing; but I feel that their not as good of a brewer; at least when it comes to making new products. They should play to their stengths; not try and improve on their weakness; they are too big to be nimble and make changes to their core process.

I tried it while me and the mrs. were camping.
It was O.K. but it will not be replacing my Bud Ice.

Bud Ice sales have went thrugh the roof since the price point dropped last year

Bud Select was okay. I just couldn't justify the price for something so, well, plain. I would stick to Natural Light instead.
