Nonetheless, it was time to make one. Where to put a delightful find, The Classic Cask Single Batch 20 year old bourbon in my Top 25? After the second tasting, there was no doubt it was solidly, and surprisingly, going to make the Top Five, but where?

And after the fourth tasting, there was no doubt that we were talking Top Three here, but that would mean that The Mighty Booker's was going to take a tumble!!! Gasssssssssssssssssssppp!!!!!!!

No way!!! And I hated to see it go. But I like this better than Booker's. Heck, there's been a few moments when I thought I might like it more than the Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 20 year old at No. Two!!!!!!!!! No way!!!

Way.

But, all things considered, I have to put this fine and delicious bourbon, with a huge mouthful of spicy oak combined with dried pear and light amber maple syrup notes at No. Three, which is no shame, and it is also not to slight any others that I favor. After a long and valiant stand in the Top Ten, Knob Creek falls to No. 11, and so, without further ado, I go to a new thread to post . . .
