Okanogan Wa.
I have been looking for a cigar forum for a bit and liked what I saw here, I had a not so small problem (for me at least), must say quick reply's (still working on suggestions, so won't be able to post response back just yet), I live in North East Washington, - Middle of nowhere - in a town called Okanogan, high mountain river valley, half an hour or so from Canada so I do get Cuban's every so often.
Been smoking cigars off and on for around 20 years, in the last year or so decided to get serious about them and have had a great time exploring the different names and brand's ( enjoying a Gran Reserva # 5 Gran Habino 2010 as I post this ), looking forward to getting to know fellow cigar smokers as I learn more :p

Hello from Eastern Washingtonian and a fellow newbie to this site. I love that area around Okanogan. I'm hoping to get up to Chelan in March. They have some pretty decent wineries there. The lakes not bad either. :)

Hello DGJ, I love the area to that's why I continue to stay, great hunting and fishing along with skiing (both downhill and x-country), snowmobiling, camping ETC. I was born in Goldendale so I am in the Yakima area semi often great area, u are correct there are some great wineries in the area although I no longer drink ( bad things tend to happen when I do, plus I'm allergic I break out in handcuffs )

HA! Well if we ever meet up, I keep that in mind and only break out the sticks.

Anybody who likes the GH #5, loves camping and fishing is OK in my book. Someday you will have to come up to Northern Sask, and we can show you some real fishing. Other than Ocean fishing, we have the best in the world.

Would love to get up to your part of the continent, I have been up highway 97 a ways just out for a for a drive a couple of times, if I could find a woman - talk my wife into it would not mind living the my side of the mountain life style (would probably have to learn to grow and roll my own cigars is about the only draw back I see)

DGJ no problem being around the stuff (work in a pub), like the idea of the sticks though, if you ever get up to Chelan let me know, I was the kitchen manager for Mill Bay Casino for awhile ( about 6 years back ) and still have friends living in town I drop by and see, would give me a good reason to drop in and say hi
