This has nothing to do with cigars... Just looking for some advice.

Me and some friends are moving into an apartment Sept 1st, we are looking for a decent size flat screen TV. There are five of us that would split the cost, though, we are college students and don't have a lot of money, esp after moving. I have been looking at Nextag.com and can find some flat screens at around 600-700$ for 26-32" from brands like samsung and aquos. I worry that some of these places nextag refers you to are sketch.

Anybody have advice, know a great place online, are there better deals than this?

dont know about nextag but have been looking at a new tv lately.
dont know exactly what you want but you can get a 27 in flat screen Sanyo at Wal Mart for 268. this is flat screen, not flat panel.
they also have a 32 in flat screen for $417.

circuit city also has some nice flat screens at decent price.

I second Circuit City and Sams Club. Circuit City is also usually desperate for credit card applicants. Its not a perfect way to go what with their high rates, but it you have no other way to pay for a really nice one, I know their incentives are very good.
