A good friend just returned from Las Vegas with some fine cigars. He dropped 3 beautiful sticks by the house and the first one I smoked was the Upmann.
The Cameroon wrapper really makes this cigar. The burn is even to the fingertips. Lots of smoke and a really nice white ash. With my taste back to about 60% I may have missed some of the finer aspects of this cigar, but it thrilled me. As I speak( type lol ) the after taste is still very pleasant, almost sweet. I smoked half before I took my wife to dinner and then to see Larry the Cable Guy in "Health Inspector". I love Larry but the movie was terrible. We just got home and I spent about 20 minutes finishing my cigar. Even after a re-light this cigar hit that spot. Really, really nice, rich and smooth. The other cigars are, an Ashton Heritage Puro Sol and a Hoyo De Monterrey. I have some Padron Maduros coming next week, so it looks like spring in California is going to be great.
