I have a digital hygrometer that has been salt tested with a 74% outcome. My humidor can hold about 150 cigars and has four shelf area (three of which can be removed and one top locked area) each shelf has four or five slots for ventelation but yet obviously aren't big enough for a cigar to fall through. Herein lies the problem(?): in the top area of my humidor my hygrometer reads 72-76% humidity, but when put in the lowest draw it reads 64%. I was wondering how you would advise to make the humidity level out throughout the humidor, I placed one of the travel humis that cigar.com puts in their shipments in the bottom but it has yet to really have any affect so any advice would be welcome
ps-the box is kept in a dark area with temperatures around 72-76 degrees with two windows that are always shaded closed so no sunlight (or at least extremely little) is hitting it. Thanks guys!
