Over the past five years or even perhaps a bit more, Chai has become very popular in the New York Metropolitan area. Chai is known very well to many far and middle eastern nations, and has no set recipe, although it is always a mix of spices and herbs, but I believe the most basic ingredient is always black tea, which by the way is heavily caffeinated, one reason why Chai perks you up so well!!! Chai is delicious, enjoyed hot and cold, mixed or straight, and has become very popular. I see it's not just here.
