if this was a special release, because I bought one a few years ago at my favorite cigar shop in NYC, De La Concha. The band was different then. I'm not up on my cigars, and since many brand names have more than one line of cigar attached to them, I'll describe the band. It's a thin, white one, with a thin brown line going around it, with Made in Nicaragua in brown letters underneath, and in all capital letters above the brown line BUCANERO in burnished bronze letters.

For my second tasting of Old Potrero Single Malt Whiskey, I chose this Bucanero Torpedo, about 6x51. Nice, smooth, soft brown wrapper, deerskin texture. You hunters will like that.

Sweet and pungent tobacco flavors throughout this smooth, rich tasting, light to medium bodied cigar. Also violet powder along with that and sweet earth towards the end. Very nice. Don't know who sent me this one, but it's something I definitely wouldn't turn down.

:D I guess they only cater to guys like me and HojoMania, . . .

you know, the WEIRDOS of the world!!!

The first one I ever had a few years ago tasted just like that, Rick, but not this time.
