Had this treat earlier.
At 6.5X52, it's my favorite size cigar, but I can't recall ever having one with a Sumatra wrapper.

Pre light construction was beautiful, the cap had a fine construction. I've noticed some torpedos and belicosos having a cap that could be better produced by a simian. Not this one.

The wrapper had a sweet aroma, not overbearing, but sweet. Pre light draw was about as good as I've ever had.

Foot toasted easily and uniformly. After lighting, the draw was still fantastic. Volumes of smoke, just what I like. The taste was on the mild side, mellow, but a full mellow. Does that make sense? Light woody, mellow coffee and tea flavors were noted throughout. There was no hint of the wrapper aroma bleeding into the smoke. The cigar burned perfectly, with a fine white/gray ash.

A full hour later, the tea taste came on fuller, with the other flavors taking a back seat. It was not a strong taste, just full. I liked it.

Overall, a great smoke. I'm usually tough on newer or less known brands. You couldn't pay me to say a negative comment. At a tad under $4 a cigar, don't miss out. I'll be ordering more.

I liked the torpedo also, but in the connecticut, maduro, and corojo reserve. If you buy by the box they are actually less than $3.00 a stick.

It was given to me this past weekend, I just looked it up single stick price.

Very nice discription Colonel. I just put in an order for a couple of these to try. If I like I'll propably become the proud owner of a new t-shirt.

Thanks
